Panthers Only Have 2 Primetimers: Tnf Vs. Giants, Mnf Vs. Eagles

Has anyone noticed the logic in this? They swapped the Chargers-Broncos location for their game B/c the chargers would have too far to go. So the dumbfug's fug us over royally by playing atlanta at home, going to san diego, then coming back to host oakland? it would've made more sense for us to host san diego in this stance. Really really stupid. Still though 12-4.

The start is key for me. Beating the Saints* and Giants would give the team great confidence and send a warning to the rest of the NFC South that we mean business.

I want to curb-stomb the Saints like we did the Bucs last year. And if we draft well enough, I want that curbstomping to be a shutout. In both games.

It's highly unlikely, but that's what I want to see happen. Curbstomping Foulass would be lovely, too.

The RG3 game in prime time was totally illogical. You don't give a team a prime time game based on whom you think they will draft.

I'm happy with two prime time games but I'm very disappointed we didn't get a Sunday night game. That is the best time slot of the week.

I love our opener. A winnable game on the road to get our season started. We will be going up against a rookie head coach.

I like our Saints match ups. Week one they will come out with tons of emotion and fire. Whether they win or lose reality could set in for week 2. There is also the potential that defensive players are serving a suspension. (also possible it could be delayed like the star caps guys). Then we get them the last week of the season when there is the potential of them being in total implosion mode.

I don't like the early bye. I do like getting the Cowboys coming off it.

We have a very winnable but tough schedule. So business as usual in the NFL. I think we need to get hot early because momentum will be everything for a young team. I don't see us winning 5 straight at the end of the year to make the playoffs. We need to load up early and hold on.

Only? This is GREAT news. Not every game is going to be a MNF or SNF game. I like the day games better anyways. Vick vs Cam is gonna be great.

Pretty much.

Cam's exposure aside, we were still 6-10 last year. Improve on that this season and the scheduling will change.

Best is yet to come, folks. Patience...

    • The OL has certainly been better than the trainwreck it was three or four years ago. As far as competitiveness let's apply some realism and clarity here. Quite a bit of the competitiveness in 2025 came from the defensive side of the ball which gave up the most points in league history the year before and was one of the bottom 5 units in terms of salary cap allocation for 2025 while the OL was top 3. We had the 26th passing offense last year. And if not for a herculean couple of games from Rico Dowdle we don't back our way into the division title or make the playoffs because we went 4-6 in our final ten games including being swept by the Saints who were starting a rookie 2nd round pick most of us mercilessly mocked when they selected him. In conclusion yes we've seen a difference. The question now is will the investment pay off the way we want. But the only way that happens is if we field a top 15 offense. If we can't even crack the top 20 then there need to be some very warm seats across the board. And I would hope just about anyone here should agree with that.
    • These Spurs are lowkey loaded.  If healthy, they could win it all this year (#2 in the West right now). I still think we’ve gotta keep Kalk on Wemby; he’s not getting completely dominated like every other NBA center.
    • Am I the only one who doesn't understand this fan bases infatuation with adding a high end TE? Especially when we have some bigger bodies in T-Mac and Coker who can slide into the slot at times and provide the big dependable target over the middle that most teams use their TE for. I mean, sure, it would be nice to have one of those elite TE's, but I feel like that's a position your better off going cheap with a committee who each bring something different to the table while spending our cap room on the more important positions. I like the potential we saw from Evans this year, Sanders could be a best if he can stay healthy, and Tremble has improved as well.  Just feels like spending high draft picks or cap space on other needs and more important positions is a better use of our resources than splashing on a TE in the draft or FA. Are those guys on the level of the Bowers or McBride's of the world?  Of course not, but we also are paying a fraction of the cost on our TE room than they are, and we're able to use that money for other needs.
