So with the roster pretty much set.

With the schedule we have I'd say 10-6 maybe 11-5. But I think this team will be more complete than last years. We should have a much improved pass rush so QB's won't have all day to find someone open. Our running game should continue to be good and possibly better if Robinson develops fast enough. We'll have Ryne Robinson back and Goodman should bring a play maker to the KR spot. Jarrett will become a legit threat to defenses.

We are basically set everywhere. If we are to make a super bowl run Jake is the key factor imo. If he can get his sh1t together we have a good shot if not we might make the playoffs but probably not far. Jake is the only starter on this team that is the weakest talent, everywhere else we have good depth and lots of potential. Baring injuries its on Jake. Just my opinion.

I think we go 14-2.

Peppers stays and our defense is top 5

We have a top5 run game

and we just wear the crap out of everybody.

Jake will put up 3000 yds passing, Smitty gets 13oo

D-Will gets 1600 yds, J-Stew gets 1200

we led the league in sacks and ints

Have done it before.

Never beaten Miami and have Pat White!

New orleans will take one game

Philly is much better than the Panthers.

Giants will rattle Jake and he will cost the Panthers the game.

Minnesota has had the Panthers number the last couple of meetings

New England is a better team than the Panthers.

Atlanta is going to be great this year

    • He has attempted 8 shootout goals in his NHL career and made 1. He is among our worst SO guys on the entire roster in terms of career stats.
    • Against Miami, the Panthers were behind by 17 in the 2nd quarter facing a 4th - 5. Young completed a 21 yard pass and they went on to score 7 on that drive. Then in the 4th, down by 4, they faced a 4th - 5 and again, he completed a 17 yard pass and they went onto score a TD for the win. He also accounted for 2 of the 3 TD's.  As I said, he got them in that mess and no doubt, Rico gets credit as well, but missing on either of those 4th down conversions hands the ball over and results in 1 or 2 less TD's giving them a loss. As you said though, that's just a small quibble. The real question is how does the FO see it?  I am guessing they see it as something to build on. I think most peope here see it as a total loss and fully expect the FO to see it that way as well. Time will tell.
    • Kochetkov is just too streaky. TBD if Freddie is doing that too. Freddie is the more reliable goalie over his career. The Bussi kid looks like he could be a solid #2 eventually.  Just need to figure out the #1 guy. Same as almost every year. It's not talent, it's consistency and being able to step up in the playoffs.
