Years ago I was in a popular internet dating site. I always list myself as "Caucasion". (I'm mixed race. Mostly White with some Native American mixed in. It's a toss up if you can tell the Native American in me. I tan with a 40 watt light bulb though.)

I went on a first date for dinner, and the woman told me almost immediately, that she felt cheated. That I had lied on my profile stating that I was white, when It was obvious to her that I wasn't. ( I proceeded to tell her that I am Mixed Race, but mostly white.) The rest of the evening and dinner went downhill from there. (I should have excused myself and went to the restroom, and ducked out at the beginning!)

Then I changed my profile to show "Mixed Race". Then women assumed that I was part white and part African American. So I had to explain "Mixed Race" in my profile. After that, it got to be a hassle and I just gave up.
