I think the real issue with labeling this positive footage of mcclain is that these are mostly passing plays, yet he puts no pressure on qb at all. How is that success? Other players made plays while he stood on the field. Bfd

Who has said that they should? I don't know about everyone else but that isn't what I expected. But it doesn't change the fact that last year, they sucked. Doesn't mean they can't improve. Just that, last year, they were garbo.

Yes 97, the one who is getting stopped dead in his tracks every play. This is McClain, he falls on a ball in this vid and does absolutely nothing else, except for the previously mentioned pirouette and junk bump of James Anderson. That is all, simple and plain, I have nothing against McClain and hope he succeeds. This video on the other hand shows nothing for him and he did not show anything all year, I just cannot see what you like about him in this vid.

A rookie keep 2 players buzy on each play, opening holes for his teammates and you don't like him?

The play with Anderson is a perfect exemple, 2 players of the offensive line are rushing Mcclain and so a hole is opened in the middle imediatly exploited by Anderson.. SACK

My hopes are he has a marked improvement this year, which is feasible considering he will now have had a year in a nfl workout regiment.

I say its Greg Hardy that has a breakout year however, it is his 3rd season (usually the breakout year for DE's) I think he gets 10.5 sacks 48 tackles and 4 ff's.
