I read somewhere that his agent said if it was his own son he would tell him not to play and to retire...he might want to play, but I don't think it's in his best interests. I hope he's saved well to be okay financially and keeps his long-term health in mind when he makes the ultimate decision.

I read on rotoworld that this injury is career ending. Im sure he'll shop around and eventually a doctor will give him an okay, but personally I wouldn't take a chance on him.

I could easily see him returning and getting a stinger in a game or practice and reality sets in and he realizes it just ain't worth it.

I feel bad for this guy. Got his head in at the wrong time, wrong place. However it was one of the most unintentionally funny moments in broadcast history as they tried to explain what Nick hit his head on.
