If it weren't for his sub-par senior season, which raised questions about his work ethic and desire, Coples would be a slam dunk. So the question is, was his performance the result of inherent personality traits or the circumstances at UNC? I believe that's what the front office is trying to figure out by visiting his home, and if they are convinced it has more to do with circumstance, they'll draft him.

I think investigating Cam taught the FO a lot about how to look for character in men and ignore the media speculation, so if they are comfortable, so am I.

I think the main reason Coples really played half ass this last season mainly because of Butch Davis getting fired and all of this off the field issues with the team. Coples I think once Davis got fired he really didn't give a crap anymore. So he played the way he wanted to for most of the season. I'm sure he is better then alot of people are thinking he is. I think Coples will be a beast no matter wheather we get him or someone else. I really want to pick him if he is the best player at the time on the board.
