Always an interesting read....

The misses and bad picks are

Godfrey

Martin

Irvin

Robinson

Clausen

Brown

Edwards

PFF sometimes is full of poo. Clausen was put in a crazy situation and in the 2nd round with Moore the only QB on the roster I would have made that pick. I wouldn't call that a bad Pick yet.

Martin and Godfrey while not being great have made plays and played better when the front 7 was better.

Well, in the comments the defend Clausen to a degree and acknowledge his bad situation...

fuging duke robinson... he was the best guard in CFB one year and fuged up everything after. i had high hope for him <_<

i also wish we would have kept pike instead of clausen

Robinson was never the best guard in CFB. He was good, but certainly not best and his extreme lack of work ethic got him flushed.

    • Nina King continues to run circles around the rest of college basketball. She's been ahead of the curve on everything, and is the biggest reason for Duke's success post-K IMO. I think Scheyer is great at many things, but Duke went into the NIL era 100% ready whereas everyone else was playing catchup.
    • Happy they won convincingly instead of letting them hang around. Montreal is cooked, and rather than play hockey, they've decided to take some really cheap shots at guys. I get a player may feel a need to set the tone, and I understand how that works. But to 2-hand cross check someone intentionally in the face, to have a guy down on the ice and put his head into the ice with a stick, to just start punching anyone who gets within arm's reach- that's not setting the tone. That is nothing short of playing dirty.  That said, the Canes.... oh boy. They could have run this score to 6-0 with half a power play. It's embarrassing how bad the PP is. If the Canes go to the Cup finals against a team who scores at least 1 goal per game on the PP, they'll lose the close games because of the lack of results on the PP.
    • Because he knows they are winning the cup. And I fully support his decision.
