Roy Predictions

Kuechly's definitely in the right position to put up huge DROY numbers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Joe "The Jet" Adams had an incredible season returning punts and catching a couple TD's earning himself the right to be in the conversation for OROY.

OROY whoever is the best between luck and RGIII. Richardson if they neither excels. I'd be surprised if anyone outside of those 3 wins it.

I think Kuechly is the early favorite for DROY- LB's have a huge advantage for this award and he's the best of the bunch. He will get playing time on a team that will both be in the spotlight and should have an improved defense, so he's in a position to get a lot of positive publicity if he plays well. Some pass rusher(s) out there will put up a lot of sacks and make a run for this award as well, but Kuechly is the obvious pick right now.

    • For this reason, BY will not play against the Packers. They will find a reason for him to stay on the bench again.
    • Well he quickly deflected the question about Rico's "almost 7 YPC." He is very polished and he transitioned well to non-answers and side steps. I can see why a guy like him was able to pull the wool over on guys like Tepper.
    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
