1.We have improved our S.Teams and got our returner In Adams who gonna be a game changer for us.(Remember ST cost us least 3 games last year).

2.We Filled our #2 CB Spot: Josh Norman is a guy who will start from day one and also we have Brandon Hogan so we good there.

I know some here will say we did'n improve DT but I got 100% trust in Shirley,Kearse, and Edwards thats a solid unit right there so all in all its been a great off season and can't wait to see us in action in September.

I think we've had a good offseason... With that said, next year when we don't have a 3rd rnd pick again, people will be bitching unless Alexander comes in and produces right away.

I'm cautiously optimistic about our depth, because we've brought in a lot of competition, and with that at this level will probably cause more injuries in camp for people trying to make the team. I just pray that we can stay relatively healthy throughout camp and the season. If we can, we will make a poo ton of noise that few expected.

Imagine if I made a thread saying the following before the offseason began...

this is what we should do to build a playoff team for next year:

our top free agent acquisition should be a fullback

our top draft picks should be a guard and a linebacker

DT we shouldn't touch at all

pass rush and secondary aren't that big of a deal. we can add some depth guys in the 4th or 5th round but that's it

olindo mare is fine, let's stick with him at kicker

don't bother resigning schwartz or shockey

what do you think the response would have been if I posted that before the offseason began?

I for one made a similar thread, and I was flamed outta the board. But I would have definitely flamed u for the "keep Mare" part.

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
