Apparently he has no NFL experience and goes by J.J. Finley.

As Proud mentioned, he is a future NASCAR driver for Hendricks Motorsports.

It's actually Joe Jon Finley and I'm disappointed... Saw Jon Jon Finley, which sounded cooler and less Beverly Hillbillies and thought we might've signed Jermichael Finley's much lesser known brother... Nope, we signed Joe Jon Finley.

He's one cut away from becoming a Nascar driver with that name.

Ht: 6-6.5

Wt.: 254

40: 4.83

BIOGRAPHY:Two-year starter who totaled a career-high 23/290/4 as a senior after 19/241/3 the previous season.

POSITIVES:Pass-catching tight end who.s shown progress the past two years. Quickly gets off the snap, runs with good lean, and effectively extends to make the reception away from his frame. Looks the pass into his hands, adjusts to the errant throw, and comes out of a crowd with the ball. Uses his frame to protect the pass and effectively makes body-catches when necessary. Gives effort as a blocker and makes good use of angles in pass protection.

NEGATIVES:Marginally strong at the point and struggles to control defenders. Has not been overly productive in college.

ANALYSIS:Finley is a tough prospect who gets the job done. He is a solid middle-round prospect who could eventually develop into a productive player at the next level.

PROJECTION:Early Seventh Round

    • The motto means nothing if they lay down and submit to the opponent. One of the most embarrassing things I have seen from twenty years of being a fan.  Regardless if the lead seems to be insurmountable, you keep giving 110% untill the final second. Canales is definitely a Beta and it wasn't a good look at all. I wonder what the locker room was whispering about after that sh%t. I hope we never see this again and he actually grows a pair of balls. He needs to look in the mirror and understand that you just don't do that in the NFL. Maybe peewee football so kids don't get hurt. Throw the 3rd stringers in to run the play and finish the game wirh some some pride and don't bend the knee.
    • No but we should have kept both of them. People complaining about what he got paid can’t say much now because it’s absolutely worth it to get 15 sacks which we could desperately use, especially when you compare it to some of the free agents we have signed to try to replace that production (none of them have come close and we are wasting good money on them)
    • That period started rough but the canes stayed with it.  They will when this game 3-1 or 4-2 the way it’s going.
