Admittedly, I'm a longtime Shanahan critic. He's never accomplished much of real significance without John Elway. Credit him for offenses that churned out 1000 yard rushers like an assembly line, but sans Elway it didn't mean much in the postseason.

With all that said, kudos to the OP. A legitimately cool story (not the"bro" kind).

IMO, RG3 is another michael vick. Great at times, but small anser susceptible to injuries due to his scrambling.

Stylewise, Griffin is far more similar to Vick than Newton.

The major differences between Griffin and Vick: A couple inches of height and about a hundred IQ points.

Griffin actually seems to have a well functioning brain. Vick makes Jethro Bodine look like a Rhodes Scholar.

I think RGIII needs to use his legs when he has to and not care what "experts" say about him. Early in the season Cam forced a lot of throws instead of using his legs to prove to the "experts" that he was a passer first, then a runner.

McNabb spent most of his career doing that.
