"taking swipes" and telling it like it is are to different things. I try to speak as little as possible on the subject of my favorite team. If i wanted to speak of them i would be on a different board entirely. I can look around the rest of the NFL and give props to deserving players with no problem. Its not a shot at the Panthers. I could care less if he says things I don't like, but adding nothing to the discussion, or bringing in irrelevant attacks is a perfect example of the kind of thing that shouldn't be tolerated in a message board. Grits, you have just as much a shtick as any other troll. You try to dress it up by pretending you're "fair-minded" and pleading a persecution complex, but then you work at phrasing many of your posts to imply as much of an insult as you can while still pretending to not be a troll.

I liked what Dalton did as much as anyone. I am a huge fan of young quarterbacks, and I hope that RG3 achieves everything that Redskins fans hope for him, because that franchise needs to finally have a franchise QB. BUT, when people like you openly come to a Panthers forum and talk up your own prospect and imply his ascendency will eclipse Cam's, and do so using by discarding all the "fair-minded" logic you used to talk up Dalton and Brees and whatever other flavor-of-the-moth QB you want to use to denigrate Cam in comparison, then you are nothing but a troll and should be called out and treated as such.

Don't play both sides of the topic; either regard all quarterbacks with the same logic or admit you're a troll and get the hell out.

I may be the only one here, but I dislike this. Agreed he needs to mature but I do not want him thinking "I'll get it on the next play" Thats a road to mediocrity.
