On a side note, anyone want to clue me in on where my "New Panthers Blog" thread went? I thought I made it pretty clear that it was a Panthers news blog, not a direct competitor for the Huddle, but. . .well, you know the implication.

And yes, rep should be gone, because it just ends up being used as a means to attack more often than commend.

I just think there shouldn't be a neg rep button, because that's how little kids/trolls abuse the system.

Even though it's a meaningless number, your rep on here are points earned by sharing good knowledge or just being a cool dude. You shouldn't be able to lose anything.

Agreed. Only give positive rep.

    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
    • Wayne Gretzky yesterday said he is playing as good a series as he has ever seen from a defender. I thought that was pretty high praise.
