Ok people have to remember this is a entire new Real Time Physics engine. This is the first year for it. IT ain't perfect. Yes it will have some bugs and glitches at first. But I'm sure over time EA Madden Dev team will work on it and make it better. No game is perfect. If you can do better then build a football game yourself and see how you do. :)

Yeah.. I guess you haven't been reading. You see anybody would attempt to out do EA but theres an itty bitty problem. EA is full of a bunch of greedy bastards. So they bought the exclusive rights so nobody can make a football game but them.

If you're going to bash at least know your facts. Yes EA bought exclusive rights to the NFL, but it was the NFL that came to EA offering the rights that convinced them to buy them. EA didn't just call up Goodell and say "yo Roger, how boutcha let us buy the rights to the NFL so we can get rid of our competition"....

My observations:

1. The "game player" sucks, and please sub in Stewart at RB

2. Lots of Miami orange in the stands, did anyone else notice? EA Sports - you know us well. When the Madden game includes a fan mode, where you can sit in your seat, watch the game, and beat the poo out of a fan wearing the other teams jersey, and then deal with simulated security, I'll buy the game.

It was sold to the highest bidder, EA had been a company way longer and had more money.

Yes, and the NFL was the one who innitiated, and negotiated the sale. They were the ones who said we want to sell the rights to our product for video game purposes. Blame the NFL on that one, not EA. What would you have had them do, not put their bid in???

I would rather it not have been sold at all but if I had to pick I would rather a lower company get it and build its market off of football games only so that would be the only place they put their time.

But still if the NFL comes and says we're selling our rights to the highest bidder, what do you expect EA to do?? Be left out in the cold? Like I said, NFL rights isn't an EA thing, it's a NFL thing....

Sorry brother but you're wrong. EA tried for years to buy the rights to the NFL, I guess they finally offered enough money.

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
