Cam has already changed the NFL

Look at how much hype RG3 is getting. The media is hyping him a lot higher than Luck. Why is that?? Its because of the "Cam Effect" on the NFL. The whole time leading up to Cam's rookie season, everyone was wondering how big of a bust he would be. Now, with RG3, everyone is looking at how big of a star he will be. Just goes to show you another example of the "Cam Effect". Welcome to the new era, where the Joe Montana and John Elway clone QBs may not be the most desired.

Andrew luck was more desire than Robert Griffin....just saying

The key world is "was". Media leans towards the desires of the population. People are more interested in hearing about RG3. Nfl is also a business first and a game second. If RG3 has any success whatsoever, all teams will be getting QBs that fit the persona. Obviously, teams will not dump the Bradys, Rodgers, or Mannings, teams will start preparing for the new wave.

Cam has potential to change the game.... but that likely will start at the middle and high school level and have a trickle up effect.

Cam definitely made life easy on RGIII just like guys like VY made it harder for Cam

It's not like Vick wasn't taken 1st in 2001.

And yes, the reason you haven't heard anything about Luck is that Stanford players have not been at any of their OTAs, Today is literally Luck's first day of activity.

lol Cam has nothing to do with it. If RG3 was sucking it up in camp do you think his name would be on everyones lips? No. RG3 is getting press because RG3 is a bad bad man.

They're doing skeleton drills, a first round pick had better look good in camp at this point in time. Hell I could still sling the ball around well enough to get talk during the drills that they're running.

It just sucks for him that he got drafted by such a shitty organization.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
