Teams can now determine whether or not there is a local blackout

Ticket prices are a huge factor. Just look at the Final Four. Who in their right mind would pay a dollar to sit in the far back of the upper deck? Same with UFC. Who would pay a lot to sit so far back you can't see anything? Baseball and football are no different. After going one time and finally getting to see your team, it's only really worth ticket prices these days if you have good seats.

Never been to a Panther game, since I live in California, Ive been to one 49ers game, a few years back I believe it was a Thursday night game, vs the Bears. It was an awesome experience, even though I can't stand the 49ers and don't care too much for the Bears, I believe Cutler threw like 4 picks that game.

4 years ago, I had a chance to go to the Raiders vs Panthers game, but decided against it. Oakland is a terrible place to go watch a game as a visitor. Especially after we beat them. The fans there are terrible. Everyone I know who goes to Raiders games always talk about how many fights they seen, or how rowdy the drunk Raidernation is.. I didn't feel like going to County Jail that day....

I was thinking about traveling down to SD to watch us play, but it is too close to Xmas. Gotta get the kids taken care of 1st.

I went to that Raider game and took my mom (lifelong diehard Raider fan) and had a blast. Ironically, the closest fight I came to was with four Panther fans in front of me. I'm going to SD for the game this year, and went to opening day last year against AZ. If its a Panthers game ANYWHERE on or near the west coast, I am going to be there.

Shame on you guys.

I have to wake up at 8ish to even get some grub in me. Drive to the sports bar and beg them to turn the Carolina game on, no volume of course.

If I lived anywhere near Charlotte I would make it to 6/8 home games easily.

I try to go to at least a couple of games a year, though living in Wilmington makes attending more than that impractical. I notice this year tickets seem to be more expensive than in the past too. That being the case, I may have to limit my road trips to just one this year (I already have tix on the way for the home opener). Still, I love the atmosphere of being in the stadium on a crisp fall day! One solution to losing attendance due to the economy might be to enhance and make the the ticket two-pack a more robust program.

I go to all the games except when the Steelers play here preseason. My seats go unused. I can't stand all the fat smelly skanks and Steeler bandwagon trash. It makes my blood boil so I stay home for that one.

If you can afford the trip I highly recommend heading up to Seattle. Beautiful city, great fans.

    • The question is which Bryce shows up game 1. Do we get week 2 (2024) Bryce, or week 18 (2024) Bryce?  I will say that his progression after the benching last year was amazing. He literally got better every game - sans Dallas. Like every week he did something we hadn't seen him do before. And it wasn't luck, toss it up for grabs plays like Penix did against Carolina. Penix was just throwing the ball as hard as he could in the direction of a receiver and hoping they'd make a play for him. What we saw from Bryce was different. Decision making, reading defenses, recognizing blitzes and where they were coming from, knowing his hot, avoiding pressure and manipulating the pocket, throwing with anticipation, taking shots downfield, and running the ball surprisingly well. Stats don't always tell the story. Did he miss some throws that he should have made - sure did. But the clutch gene is strong with this one. One score game and Carolina has the ball with 2 minutes on the clock - I'm confident he'll give them a chance to win more than he doesn't.
    • I really like David Moore. He's a reliable WR. Smart, doesn't drop the ball and he's where he's supposed to be. Now, he ain't gonna route up a DB. He ain't gonna 50/50 ball a DB. He ain't gonna run by a DB either. But he runs a good enough route and catches the ball - definitely an NFL average WR. Every team could use a David Moore. Now if this receiving group can force Dan and Dave to let him go, then this team has come a long way since 2023. A LONG way. But I will say that Horn's speed is a big deal. They don't really have another guy with speed and quickness to blow the top off the defense and make guys miss in space after the catch, though he is still a rookie and hasn't done it in the NFL. If he and Renfrow push Moore out, then we might actually have something gents. Plus I see Renfrow as Thielen's replacement in 2026. I just don't think Coker is the reliable, move the chains guy like Thielen. Could be wrong.
    • david newton still doesn't have a clue. how long has he been doing this?
