Girlfriend had a lousy day too, and my phone was acting goofy :(

We've spent half the day in the ED. Now we're in a hospital room. We just found out that Dan has an infected gallbladder and many gallstones. He's being scheduled for gallbladder surgery.

I hear you, had to spend 4 hours and $500 at the emergency vet. Dog is all better now, so money well spent at the end of the day. Hope Dan feels better soon.

My Dad had his gallbladder removed a couple of years ago and he did ok with it.

Surgery is supposed to be tomorrow but it has not been scheduled yet. The surgeon needs to get sleep before he does it. It could be the kind of thing where the surgeon says he's ready and they prep him for it suddenly. The ED nurse told us his gallbladder is necrotic but the doctor said it was inflamed and infected and really won't know the condition its in until he performs the surgery. The good thing is he isn't in horrible pain like he was, now he's sleep deprived and hungry due to not being able to eat since Thursday.
