Falcons LB Lofa Tatupu will be out for the year with a torn pectoral.

So they let Lofton walk (to the Saints***) and replaced him with Tatupu. All they've got left at the position at this point is Akeem Dent, a 3rd rounder out of UGA in 2011.

Considering the fact that the Falcon's DL is pretty poor, that's a helluva hole right up the middle of the Falcon's defense.

No not perfect... They will have plenty of time to pick up somebody that gets cut or off of waivers. I don't wish injuries upon even our worst enemies... When we beat them, I want them to be at 100%. The Saibts fans will be crying about bounty gate both times that we beat them this year.

Makes me think back to Dan Morgan and now TD. Tatupu was good until the injuries. Would suck to be that good only to lose out to injuries.

I don't wish injury on any player, but after the fact I'm very pleased that the Falcons have been weakened. Let them search the waiver wire and worry about that position. As for wanting them to be 100%, I'd rather they be as weak as possible when we play them to raise the odds of winning.
