Anyone Going To Fan Fest Tomorrow?

No, Mr. Belichick.

I didn't think people would recognize me without my hoodie. You got me, lol.

In all seriousness though, I was only asking because IIRC someone posted bits of it from last year including several of Cam's passes. I just wanna see how the new guys on defense and the receivers behind LaFell look.

Whatever floats your boat I guess, but damn, you can't wait a few weeks for our first preseason game? Seeing fan fest practice gets your juices flowing that much?

Not even a few weeks lol, seven days.

LOL, I suppose I can hold out, but in all honesty, I am fiending for some Panthers football and I feel like this is our year... So, the earlier I can see our team the better.

I wish :(

Sadly, I will be busy tomorrow (helping girlfriend move).

Looking like I may not make it to camp this year. Shame. This is one of the more intriguing off seasons we've seen in a while.

That sucks Scot... Moving is a horrible task, lol. After doing it myself 2 months ago and still getting settled, and then helping my friend move his mother last week, I have decided when I move again that we'll just throw all of our stuff into a landfill and start over, lol.

Always appreciate your observations and write-ups from camp.

Where as I am going and my girlfriend is from Tokyo. Which means yes she is the Japanese stereotype of big Nikon camera. I'll try to film some and take photos but can't promise much if its as hot as everyone says its going to be I may not care by the time practice actually starts.

    • More praise of Renfrow from Tim Weaver (formerly of USA Today's Panthers Wire, now SI.com), and also what I told some of you, my Huddle friends, from the start: keep it all in perspective, and don't conveniently---and perhaps unfairly, discount and label Renfrow as a JAG when it was a very debilitating illness affecting his play.    "It's understandable to be skeptical about Renfrow's abilities at this late point in his career. After all, he missed all of last season due to a bout of ulcerative colitis that also took a serious toll on his production in 2022 and 2023."   When Renfrow is healthy, he's an above average guy. Being 29 may hurt or help his chances depending upon perspective, but 29 for receivers generally means that there's still (sometimes plenty) gas in the tank. Renfrow also obviously has plenty of motivation and has come with his game face.   "Then agan, seeing is believing and by all accounts Renfrow has been very impressive since joining the Panthers a few months ago... Where Renfrow will fit in Carolina's new-look receiver corps remains to be seen, but at this rate it's going to be hard to exclude him from the initial 53-man roster." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/hunter-renfrow-sick-route-panthers-training-camp Read the room, ladies and gentlemen. And don't get it twisted; Renfrow isn't the most talented receiver on the team, but we have seen his ceiling, when healthy, in a Raiders offense that wasn't necessary replete with talent. Consider what he can do, especially in the slot, in a Panthers offense primed with young talent (no pun intended). From sick to "sick routes," eh?
    • That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp.  I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.
