Greg Hardy drinking......

There are 36 shots in that picture. Here is one round at my going away party, and I can assure there was more alcohol in these than in the shots in that picture. I did not drink all of them, as we were buying rounds for all who wanted them. Leave the man alone, and let him have his fun.

i don't think you get it.

it's not your life. get over it. live your own damn life. quit telling people how they should live theirs. you said it yourself. he can do whatever.

let him live his life. you life yours. you don't like what he does. quit reading his tweets. quit following him. quit reading threads like this talking about his life.

and yes, you are acting high and mighty. you're telling him how he should live and behave and communicate. it's not up to you. what makes you any kind of authority? who are you to be telling anyone how to live or behave on the internet? what makes you so special?

these guys are just guys and they shouldn't be held to any other standard than anyone else.

Your missing the point, we don't pay these guys to act like 14 year olds on twitter.

They are here for one thing and thats to perform on sundays.

I'm sure there is a clause in his contract forbidding stuff like this on social media. We all know they do it but nobody likes to see it. It comes off as a bad image. By now I'm sure the Fat Cat Richardson has sat down and addressed this issue with Hardy. And hopefully we wont have the need to have this discussion again.

Moral of the story,

Keep your nose clean and don't act stupid.

For some people all of the lights aren't on...

Exactly.

Hey, Hardy was probably out with a bunch of friends and they ordered a bunch of rounds for them. No biggie.

What was stupid is taking a picture of it and then tweeting it out. Especially after his brain fart of tweeting a picture of him doing 100+ mph on Providence Road.

In the eyes of elitists like yourself? Probably heartbreaking and physically damning.

To folks like myself, I personally lol'd and went "meh"

Hardy taking a photo of alcohol (which 95% of the social media population do) =/= an out of control drunk athlete.

Hardy can start posting bonehead photos when he wins 22 olympic medals, a good start for him would make a few more sacks or tackles... Until then don't give me a reason to trade you to Oakland

The picture of why he dropped to the sixth round is becoming clearer.

Lets see if I can get everyone to meet somewhere in the middle. "The haters" can agree it is ok to responsibly drink a few beers. "The Hardy Public Defenders" can agree it takes a special kind of idiot to keep posting moronic things on Twitter. And, if he is this dumb, what are the chances of him drinking responsibly. Just saying lol.

    • The game thread is stream of consciousness. I may or may not have made a tasteless remark I don’t recall.    I know that my reaction was mixed, , not sure if I thought it was a positive or a negative in terms of.the game.    What I do know is we don’t need him hurt in the middle of a year where the jury is looking to come in on his future. fug that we need him playing and healthy so it is a fair game evaluation wise.    That is absolutely the most important thing in my mind by a large margin. I am not happy he is hurt, at all.
    • It's Wednesday, we're bored, and suffering theough another Halloween cooking show pretendingto be interested. What'd you expect.
    • I wasn't saying that's the only way to get one. My post was in direct response to the "if you have the opportunity to get a game breaking TE, you take them" I was just saying that if you're taking a TE in the 2nd or 3rd round, you're just hoping they can become that game breaking TE.  The ones that you KNOW will become that, are the guys like Bowers or Warren who go in the early 1st round. We just took mid round TEs that both show solid potential, I don't see how taking a TE in the 1st would make sense over the other available players.  And taking one in even the 2nd or 3rd just seems like to big of a risk at that position when we have so many other needs.
