I havent been to camp and I have no idea which guys contribute the most on special teams. So can I get the depth chart predictions from all of you guys? also if you will make a seperate list of who is best on special teams in your opinion please rank from first to last. here is the depth chart I hope we end up with. I dont have a clue on SP so I will not have that list but hope some of the more legit credible guys on here do. This is tough since either AE, Adams, Murphy , tutu or Pilares gets the ax. Dont flame me too bad, like I said without ST knowledge I cant say this is educated. This is just what I hope based on what I have seen on youtube and gameplay and consider potential. Hopefully someone on here will be real detailed as to why they choose each pick ie...crisp route running, ST ability, work ethic etc..

1. Smitty

2. Lafell

3. Gettis

4. Murphy

5. pilares

6. AE/joe adams? unless adams shines on returns then he is gone. We all thought AE would be the shizzle as a PR but it didnt pan out. Murphy has had some drops.

Jared green gets practice squad, tutu doesnt make the cut unless he has some super ST ability that I am not aware of.

Just like Adams, I think there is a 0% chance Pilares is cut. He plays on KO returns and kick and punt coverage units. The team has involved him extensively in camp, often running with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd team offenses.

Tutu has also had a good camp and plays special teams.

Gettis may be vulnerable unless he comes back strong from his injury.

why is everyone giving gettis that 3rd spot. he hasnt done anything really to have earned that. regardless of whether he comes back healthy or not, his job is still on the bubble. Right now the race is between Gettis, Pilares, and Armanti. If the panthers like tutu, look for them to trade one of those 3. Adams makes the team regardless.

    • More praise of Renfrow from Tim Weaver (formerly of USA Today's Panthers Wire, now SI.com), and also what I told some of you, my Huddle friends, from the start: keep it all in perspective, and don't conveniently---and perhaps unfairly, discount and label Renfrow as a JAG when it was a very debilitating illness affecting his play.    "It's understandable to be skeptical about Renfrow's abilities at this late point in his career. After all, he missed all of last season due to a bout of ulcerative colitis that also took a serious toll on his production in 2022 and 2023."   When Renfrow is healthy, he's an above average guy. Being 29 may hurt or help his chances depending upon perspective, but 29 for receivers generally means that there's still (sometimes plenty) gas in the tank. Renfrow also obviously has plenty of motivation and has come with his game face.   "Then agan, seeing is believing and by all accounts Renfrow has been very impressive since joining the Panthers a few months ago... Where Renfrow will fit in Carolina's new-look receiver corps remains to be seen, but at this rate it's going to be hard to exclude him from the initial 53-man roster." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/hunter-renfrow-sick-route-panthers-training-camp Read the room, ladies and gentlemen. And don't get it twisted; Renfrow isn't the most talented receiver on the team, but we have seen his ceiling, when healthy, in a Raiders offense that wasn't necessary replete with talent. Consider what he can do, especially in the slot, in a Panthers offense primed with young talent (no pun intended). From sick to "sick routes," eh?
    • That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp.  I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.
