2012-13 EPL season

Races have somewhat cleared up, and could be even more so after today. Everton's CL hopes died at Sunderland. Spurs would be on life support if they can't beat Man City. Chelsea still has a game in hand on Arsenal so losing to Liverpool isn't the worst thing.

At the bottom, QPR and Reading are likely out with Wigan/Villa fighting to stay up. Wigan holds GD ATM.

AS for next year, Cardiff is already promoted and Hull would join them with either a win, Watford loss, or both drawing

My biggest problem with soccer is that no one is good at it. Watched the world cup and guys at that level still kick it 10 feet over the goal. Thats like watching an NBA game where the guys are shooting it over the backboard.

No, thats more like a guy watching Kobe shoot 40% in a playoff game and thinking to himself, "poo, I can shoot a better percentage than that"

Though I applaud you for calling out the title of this thread for inaccuracies. Technically it should be "BPL" rather than "EPL" since Swansea is Welsh

om nom nom nom. As a liverpool fan I think it is poor and his season should be done. He was also in the race for PFA and I think that is gone too.

I think at some point leagues should start banning these players for life. First the racism thing with Patrice Evra, then refused to shake Evra's hand later in the season and now he is tried to bite someone....AGAIN. As a United fan for the last decade, I don't want Liverpool to do well and I despise many of the players on the team, but at least the club typically had class and dignity. Luis Suarez is destroying the reputation of Liverpool single handedly. Liverpool is no longer a european powerhouse, and not as visable worldwide, so when the news of these douchebag things that Suarez keeps doing make headlines, it just further pushes people away from L'pool.

Edit: Liverpool has only fined Suarez. Liverpool has officially become a joke.

    • I would say the extremes from both camps in these conversations have to do with the blurring of the fact Bryce is a first overall pick and the expectations for that draft slot fair or not far exceed just being a top 20-25 starter amongst your peers. Regardless. All logical Panthers fans want him to be the answer.
    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
