Carolina Vs Houston internet blackout?

Recommended Posts

After ordering the Preseason Live on NFL.com I noticed the Carolina game was blacked out for this Saturday.

Also, the Greenbay/San Diego game, and the Dallas/Oakland game.

*Due to broadcast restrictions, games that are televised locally are subject to blackouts within NFL Preseason Live. Additionally, all nationally broadcast NFL Preseason games will be blacked out live. All these games will be made available in the NFL Preseason Live archives.

Garbage!

Just a warning if your only means of watching the game was online.....

NFL is totally missing the boat on the whole streaming thing. When a fan tries to watch the games legitimately, such as you did, and gets screwed by the league, they really don't give people much of a choice. They give you no 'legal' option to watch the game, so....

All professional sports do this. MLB blacks out local games on the mlb.tv service. I'm a Braves fan, for instance, and I have to find an illegal stream when they play the Nationals because coastal NC is technically the Nationals TV market and it's blacked out for me.

Well, that assumption would be wrong.

If you are located in a team's television territory, check your local listings for all locally televised games. NHL CENTER ICE is not able to televise these games.

If you are located in a team's television territory and their local regional sports network is not available on your current cable or satellite provider, you will not be able to see these games in NHL CENTER ICE. This is a distribution issue between the regional sports network and the cable/satellite provider. The blackout remains intact as the local regional sports network has the rights to these games in your area.

    • He had a turnover on all three goals he was on the ice for. Plus he had that god awful delay of game penalty. Like legit his GS actually shows he was the cause of the loss and he was only on the ice for 12 minutes. You remove him from that game and the Canes win or at worst go to OT.  Let's put this in perspective, in 12 minutes he directly led to 3 goals against. In the 48 minutes without him on the ice it was an even-steven 2-2 game and that's disregarding that god awful delay of game penalty that led to goal number 4 of the 5 given up.      I don't see how anyone could say that he didn't directly lead to the loss.
    • reality is the piling on of Frank Reich is just the standard huddle angle we take of putting all blame on someone after the fact.   as I was an OG Frank hater before it was cool to be......now the swing goes too far the other way and people will claim me is as a Frank defender.  Frank Reich was the definition of a .500 middle of the road NFL coach.  He technically was a winning coach and above .500 coming here but he is and was NFL average.  we were the biggest joke in a decade.....because they paired Frank Reich (a dude who was going to do what he does in the NFL) with a dude who couldn't do NFL basics and Frank was forced to play him.  That's not Frank being a loser.  That a bad org around Frank.
    • Toronto is less physical than us, and they took them to 7  I really wish they would have won, because we match up better with them, but we have to deal with what we got  What worries me is Svech trying to take out Bob, that is desperation, that's what you do when you feel like there is no legit options left, it's what I feared, Bob is still in our core groups head, and they are over thinking, over passing Hopefully that changes tonight
