Tebow completes a pass

I don't get the The Golden Calf of Bristol hate. As a father and a Christian I love the guy, as a football fan I'm just tired if the media fawning over him.

Maybe because there is a big difference between being a Christian and clothing your self-righteous mindset in Christian attire. Tim comes across more self-righteous than Christian.

Also, being shoved into starting jobs by the media with obvious sub-par QB performance is disturbing. Especially when those same folks in the media are demanding other QBs step up their game or lose their starting jobs.

The blatant level of hypocrisy surround this man is sickening. Why don't we let the media dictate who should be where from now on since they seem to be masters at manipulating how these players should be accepted by the fans and their teams.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
