Cams gonna get the biggest deal in league history and it won't even be close (it will deliver a massive finger to the Colts and Skins though, assuming both pan out, so there's that)

His deal will easily approach the 200 mil barrier. It just doesn't look like were doing a good job preparing for it.

How on earth do we think we are going to keep Cam? He won't be staying here in a small market out of the goodness of his heart.

maybe you should write them an email or pull hurney off to one side on the sideline and tell him. they might not have taken this into consideration.

I admit I don't know much about how to work the cap. But I do know that spending $100+ mil on only 18 players is not good.

Especially when we need to resign Cam.

thinking that they don't already have a game plan in mind for that...that's being an idiot.

i'm not going to worry about stuff that i have no control over...esp. when it's several years down the road.

Why worry about the future cap numbers if Hurney isn't worrying? You guys think he didn't know what he was doing when he signed that deal? You guys really think he doesn't already know the numbers? He must be reading the same article we're reading right now shitting himself at these figures, right? You guys think he signed Stewart knowing that he would be giving up Cam in the process? You really think that he's only setting up this team for a 2012 superbowl run and fug everything else? There's a season coming up. Save all this bullshit worrying until the next offseason when there's nothing happening. #magic

I'm worried about it because, like you, I care about this team and don't want to them be in a bad situation down the road. Does me worrying about it mean I cry myself to sleep and have panic attacks? No. I'm not in panic mode, but I am concerned. So don't be a fuging dick. I'm tired of the same excuses used on this board. "Hurney has a plan" or "they aren't idiots like you guys, they know what they're doing." Do they? You mean the franchise that has only had 4 winning seasons in 17 years? Man, that's comforting.
