Deshaun Foster, HOF talent before injures.

As far as being a HOF talent, historically with RBs, with some notable exceptions, that's just been a factor of staying healthy and being with good teams.

Considering the offense Fox wanted to run, if he could have stayed healthy he'd likely have some pretty gaudy stats at this point.

People love talking about the Eagles run, but his performance in the 2005 NFC Divisional Game alone should endear him to Panthers fans, though most don't really appreciate it. To this day, that was one of the best games I've ever watched. Those two teams were killing each other. His stats might not blow anyone's mind, but he played his ass off.

Foster certainly had talent, but the measure of a RB's success is longevity. It's one thing to make great plays for 3-4 years, but everyone remembers guys like Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders and Walter Payton because they performed at a high level for 8+ years. Unfortunately injuries are just as important as talent in the NFL.
