Behold the power of boiled Peanuts

Warning! these little delectable morsels are highly addictive but if you're from the South, I don't have to tell you that.

Like Lay's potato chips, "Betcha can't eat just one"

I found a quick way to cook these,

I put them in my pressure cooker with about 1/3 full of water, salt to taste, put weight on 5lbs for 50-60 minutes. mmm perfect.

I won't turn any flavor down but my favorite is the classic boiled in salt. What's yours?

Boiled peanuts are one of my favorite foods. I love these things. Had some real good ones at oak island a month ago.

Love em hot & fresh. My dad use to grow and my mom would boiled them and roast them.

A local store sells them out of a crockpot and i buy a cup full along with a glass bottle coke.

Kinda like pinto beans.

I don't like mine over boiled.. Too mushy.

The texture of the peanut is determined by the length of time you cook them, anywhere from crunchy to mushy. It's a matter of preference. Most prefer a soft but not mushy texture.
