let the NFL have as many games in Europe as they want!

To Europeans, the annual NFL Europe games are something special, a once a year event. Now, there are talks to expand it to more games, even the Super bowl! However the more games there are, the less special it will be, and, less will attend, and it will make the NFL lose money.

Nothing will be a better slap in the face to 'ol roger than that! HAHAHAHA!

Am I the only one who thinks hosting NFL games in Europe is pretty cool? This forum has shown that even a small market team like the Panthers has fans overseas. Imagine if you were such a fan, and the Panthers travelled hundreds of miles and played before you.

Are we so myopic and self-centered that we think that professional football should only be played in America? What's a few games a year overseas?

(Now the Super Bowl, on the other hand, is another story entirely. Let's keep the big game in the States.)

yes... what's so wrong with fans not wanting the NFL to lose it's aura and greatness by expanding and losing it's value/importance?

Are we that out of touch with reality that no matter what the case is we must expand and grow and take over and give amongst those less fortunate that we will lose everything just to give away a little something?

Europe will never really care about football until they get their own team.

Traveling across the US from one coast to the other puts a strain on a team. Traveling from Charlotte to London is a 1/3 longer trip than to the West Coast. Having teams in Europe will make that a regular occurrence. Don't really mind pre-season and don't really mind regular as both teams have to make the flight. But do hate the idea of putting teams in Europe. To large a home field advantage, IMO. Yes I do know that half of Europe's game will be away and they have to travel here.

The only way you can really expand the league is if you add 8 teams. That's not going to be easy to do and will set up a scheduling nightmare...

    • I have to admit that after the first 2 games last year this would have been a steal. Of course then, it wouldn't have been considered a possible deal. The still unbelievable turnaround by seasons end and the possibility of even more with more weapons makes panther fans laugh at the deal now especially at the steep cost. Murray seems to have peaked to me while Bryce hasn't scratched his potential.   Besides I have a THE BRYCE IS RIGHT T-shirt I bought before his rookie season that I am finally  going to be proudly rocking at some home games this season.
    • Yeah, a lot of the fun for me is taming the fire to keep the temperature where I want it, but I'd be lying if I didn't want days where I could set it and forget it. Looking at you, windy days.
    • I hope FO is still working it ... we need more grit and, as stated, a legit 2C so we don't have to separate Aho and Jarvy.  Would love our 2C to have size and attitude.
