mcclain just reminds me of damione lewis. he occasionally shows flashes as a pass rusher or when he gets free from his block, but he just cant hold his point of attack. we thought he was the better him and fua but thats only because he moves well. he probably has some very poor technique or lack of strength/tenacity.

i also doubt fua is much better. i think when rivera said he felt comfortable at DT this offseason he was basically stating that having a superstar DT is just not part of this defenses equation. You can't pay every position to have a superstar and on our D we are aiming for superstar linebackers and DTs that can get the job done.

What we will see more than anything is Veteran Presents. These guys have been in the trenches for a couple years. They know what to expect and how to fight back. I truly believe our LBs are drooling at what Edwards and Edwards can bring to this defense. If they can stay healthy and teach Fua and Kearse our defense is going to go from Bottom 10 to Top 10.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
