Some interesting stuff in there. He talks about the picks and says the first one was just a result of "the nature of the game," which I think is a nice way of saying he wishes it would've been caught and not tipped up... The second one he pretty much says the safety read his eyes and he put too much underneath it.

The most telling part of the presser though? Check out his reaction at 1:29 when asked if there is anymore pressure considering who is coming up on the schedule... LOL, do you believe him?

was it just me or did i feel like the whole team including cam cared less about this game (other than our D). I felt like we were the turd in the cornfield

There was lots of smiling on the sidelines. Not sure why that is if your team is losing.

I love how everybody is saying the team just seemed like they didn't care. Did they seem lethargic in the first half? Absolutely. They came out much more fired up in the 2nd half. Had they played a full 4 quarters, we win that game. The fact is, when you can't run the football, you can't win games. Simple as that. TB controlled the clock and made the most out of their drives early on, we didn't. Who do you blame when your run game isn't working? The OL. The OL never gave Williams a shot and for much of the game, Cam was either being sacked/hurried or running for his life. You can't win games like that. The OL and the secondary early on are what cost us this game. It really is that simple.

This. The game was 13-0 before the blink of an eye and while it wasn't over that early, we didn't exactly make it easy on ourselves. DWill ain't running backwards for that -1 yard, he's being beaten because he has no lanes and protection.

To anybody that is saying we didnt care, that is BS....

What I think is they thought it was going to be a cakewalk, and the BUCS came out to get some revenge for the blowouts last year. Even in Rhonde's and Carl Nicks presser they mentioned they wanted to beat us down (even though he was a Saint, just lets you know how the mentality in the locker room was), wanted to smash us. Nicks said he had a dream that they blew us out by like 50 points (or that is what the Bucs players wanted to do).

      Below average? Seriously?? That is wild AF My man we ain't watching the same game... And I'm hard-pressed to believe you're watching the same film coaches are either if that is the take you honestly believe... I've been to almost every home game at BOA over the past 20 years... I've seen a lot of bad QB play over the past 7 years. Anybody that wasn't truly impressed by what Bryce did what the cast-offs he had to work with at the end of last year is delusional. His top 3 weapons were a 34 undrafted guy, a 7th round journeyman, and an UDFA rookie... seriously, what are we doing here??!! Some of these takes are beyond outlandish... You admitted yourself you're comparing Bryce to a guy you didn't even watch but are cherry picking stats for... So go back to your eyeballs and make it simple... how much NFL football have you watched my man?? Bc to me and my eyeball test, Bryce blew it out of the effing water down the stretch. What QBs are you watching playing so much better than him that you feel confident in saying "below average?" If you watched that and came away with anything else, we ain't watching the same thing... But beyond the eyeball test, every advanced metric in the book backs it up also... so again, what are you seeing that no one else is?? You think just anybody is going out there and dueling with Mahomes & Hurts with an almost comical inferior supporting cast and doing that? Whatever, to each their own, but it is wild to pull for a team where so many people feel compelled to crap on your QB after he just pulled maybe the greatest in-season turn around in league history and was playing by any eyeball test (for anyone that has watched an appreciable amount of NFL football) or even the advanced metrics for that matter.

      Why would we not be contenders? As long as Bryce plays like he did when he came back, we absolutely can be contenders...that is...   if the defense plays better... which is why adding someone like Ramsey when we have a QB on a rookie deal and can afford it makes sense IMO. No one thought of the Commanders being contenders last year or the Texans the year before and so on and so forth. Top-end QB play, especially for a guy on a rookie deal, changes everything in terms of timelines. Regardless of what this board thinks, I hope the front office is willing to he aggressive in thks window we currently have with a rookie QB deal
