the one thing that irks me about this loss...

is last year with the strike and not much time with the team in the offseason, rookie qb coming in and add to the fact a new coach.we actually looked competitive in most of our games including the losses.watching yesterdays tame it seems like we have regressed.i was expecting us to seem way better considering that we did good with out an offseason the year before compared to having a full offseason this year to work.one would have thought we would be better.the good thing about this loss is though that our problems can be fixed it isnt as bad as it seems.we know what our offense can do when clicking and the defense showed they cant make adjustments in the second half yesterday.i still say we win 8 games.

I swear I dont know why people falls for stupid excuses like RR didnt have the offseason last year, etc. Its completely silly.

I just want to know can someone tell me what's RR philosophy is bc I havent quite figure it yet.

Its not like Foxy where when you go into a damn game, you know exactly how hes going to approach the game: Run the ball, throw when you can bc you have a damn good wr in 89, and play hard nose defense. Win in all three phases.

RR seems clueless. Watching 17 games now with RR as HC, I cant tell if this is Rivera's team or Chud's. It looks more like its Chud's team to me.

People can bit*h at me this and that about Foxy, but heck the man took the worst team right after us in 2011 into the Playoffs last year with a mediocre QB (The Golden Calf of Bristol). We have much more damn talents on this team than Denver, and Foxy is winning his usual ways while we keeps racking up more L to the loss column.

The one thing I found amusing about Ron's take (and I am a Ron supporter)

He attempted to justify Chud not running by claiming Tampa brought 8 in the box.....forcing us to pass.

we brought 8 in the box....and defended Tampa's run all game.

would have preferred him to just say, we didn't run enough and will correct it.

Before the game I posted this:

"If I'm the Bucs DC, I'm looking at Silatolu and Kalil as the pass blocking weak spot on our O-line. Kalil is not a good pass blocker, and he needs to rely on the OGs next to him for help in pass blocking. Silatolu is still learing the position and makes rookie mistakes. Attack the center of the O-line with blitzes on passing downs, and that should result in a breakdown of our passing offense to a certain degree. But as far as our running game is concerned, it comes down to tackling, and I like our odds against their run defense."

What I didn't realise was that Cam would panic from the pressure. He actually looked afriad to me, and his fear caused a breakdown in his throwing mechanics, which encouraged TB to go ahead and keep the pressure up. I thought Cam was going to stand his ground, step into his throws, and take some monster hits for it, but deleiver the ball. It just didn't happen.

Cam didn't panic. He dealt with the pressure the best he could. Completed almost 70% of his passes and they weren't dinks and dunks. 2nd half he gambled.....consistently does it when he feels the weight of the team on his arm. Last season the D put the pressure on Cam's arm.....Sunday, Chud and the lack of legitimately running put it there

You are a clear homer if you think that we have more talent than Denver.

Denver has a better QB, Oline, Dline, Secondary and STs

We have better WRs and RBs

Denver went 8-8 in the weakest division in the NFL.

I'm no homer. I get more hate than anyone on this forum bc Im clearly less of a homer than everyone else.

Tell me who Denver have after Manning, Dumervil, Clady and Von Miller. No one.

We have far more talents than Denver. Ask anyone.

Damn CRA you've been dead on it lately. This bothered the poo out of me when I saw his presser.

Now if I could get you to admit you were wrong about Beason you'll be alright.

What about Beason? I didn't think he would be ready for the start of this season and be 100%..... He was ready. I was wrong.

Not that you deserve a response because no one outside of Panthers fans know anyone on our team except Smith and Newton but:

Clady, Thomas, MgGahee, Bailey, Porter(pick 6 yesterday and in the SB for the Saints*) just off the top of my head.

I may be wrong, but was that not you that argued all offseason that Kuechly should play the middle over Beason, and used combine stats to argue that Kuechly is a better LB than Beason?

    • So the last guy who had the job got hired by his former team directly into a role he has no direct experience in?
    • Hard to pass up millions for a couple of days work per week for a coaching gig in the NFL that is 60-80 hours each week during the season and a more relaxed 50 hours a week during the off season. Yeah, I'd love to see him as our DC but hard to see him giving up the cushy job there if he gets it. And he's going to be a great commentator for the network.
    • Really, I think that is where negotiations come in. If you've got a QB getting you to 10 wins but statistically he's not a great performer, then you say look you can take $22 million or you can try it on the market. Because let's face it, out there, any leadership skills that we're seeing aren't going to be on the table, it's just going to be performance and that lands him in the QB2 market, which is much, much less lucrative (although any of us would love that money).  No one is saying that Bryce will be a $50 million QB, barring something short of a miraculous jump. I'm just saying that if we are winning somehow with him at the helm, then it would be fuging stupid to dive back into the rookie pool all over again. Let's say we do hit the 10 win mark, heck, let's call it 11 and a second round in the playoffs. I think we can all say that would be a really uplifting result and one that should be doable if we have good play. What do we do then? Here's what I would offer if I were Morgan and Tepper. $25 million a year for 3 years, each year with up to $10 million in incentives for touchdowns, wins, playoff depth, being under 10 interceptions, completing a full season, passing yardage milestones, taking less than 15 sacks. Look, Bryce isn't a Ferrari, he isn't a Corvette, or a mid-level BMW. He's probably a new Toyota Sienna that will definitely get you somewhere and bring the whole team along with it, no fuss but not a lot of pizazz.  And really, it's about the destination, not about what drove you there.
