Am I the only one who hates David Glenn show?

I am from Grenville SC. I recently found out about the "Tune In" APP, so now I can listen to Charlotte radio! I listen to 610 all day but at 7 pm when David Glenn comes on I wont even listen to the opening.of the show! I don't know if it is it is Glenn or his co-host, but I refuse to listen! Why the fug do those jerkoffs scream into the mic? That has to be the most annoying show I have ever listened to!

For some reason, most huddlers will claim to be too good for sports radio. Their knowledge is so far past that of the hosts, ext.

I don't often get to / try to catch David Glenn, but I seem to be fond of his style. Not sure about the "yelling".

All the other shows seem to be ok, though.

Cant stand him. Spends too much time explaining simple points just to fill air space. The rest of his show seems to be devoted to useless trivia questions like "how many professional baseball players from north carolina wore black socks in the 1960s?!?!". Then inevitably some douche will call in with the answer and say that he saw so and so play in the minor leagues in 1959. The entire show goes on like this for hours.

Charlotte plays David Glenn at 7pm?

here's my gripe with the dude.. His interviews are extremely annoying since he forces a laugh after EVERYTHING his guest says, funny or not. The laughing through interviews is unbearably annoying at times...

His radio show will usually consist of 3 hours discussing some random questionnaire he might have thought of 30 minutes before the show that comes across as a happy go lucky, aw shucks let's talk about some movie that correlates with an anniversary in sports.. That or it's 3 hours of your Top 5 list on some other random topic instead of diving into sports discussions when ACC news is slow.. Eff that, ACC news actually makes this worse...

One more note: about 4 years ago I played in a rec flag football league and the guy who ran the league decided to advertise on 850 the Buzz. As part of the deal, some of the guys at 850 wanted to play in the league so he gave them free entry for the season. Bomani Jones and Adam Gold, among others, were on the team. They came out the first week, lost by like 40, and never showed up again. Forfeited the rest of their games.

    • The last child @ home has told me he wants to go to a game, so we're seeing vs Rams on the 30th
    • Did we really shut them down though? They had 369 yards of offense.   That is 9 more yards than they average per game and 53 more than we give up per game this year.   If a team gave up 369 yards per game on defense, they'd be the 7th worst defense in the league this year. Yes, I will give our defense credit for having the 4th down stand near our goal line as well as creating the fumble that stopped their first drive, as they did rise to the occasion then, but even the INT was just a ridiculous play/throw and handed it to us and they also missed a FG. We didn't force them into a single punt all game.  We had 1 sack on a QB who had 37 pass attempts. They had drives of 56, 49, 50, 43, 58, and 71 yards (while we only had 2 over 40 yards ourselves). We bent, a lot, but never really broke, partially due to the Packers own mistakes, that's a far cry from "shutting them down" in my opinion.  Again, this is why I'm critical of us after a day like today, I'm able to look beyond a final score and evaluate how we played on the whole, and we keep squeaking out these wins despite not playing well at all.  And yes, that is what great teams do, but they also play well in the majority of their games, where as all we seem to do is squeak out ugly wins without ever playing all that well. I'm not saying I'm unhappy that we won, I've never once said anything like that, but when week after week I see serious concerns with how we played, then I'm going to call out what I see.
