that we have great talent, or unbelievable talent.

Excepting a position or two we don't. If I am mistaken please show me where. - Point out those game changing players.

Even the guys that we have paid millions to for multi year contracts are pretty meh when compared to similar players in this league.

Our coaches are below average- this team has been out coached every game this year except for the one game where the Saints had no coach.

I see us at 4 -12 on the 2012 season. Next year may not be any better if we dont get a new coaching staff in here.

There are 32 teams in the league. We may not have a top 3 player right now at any position, but we have top ten or 15 players all over. Most teams have less, some teams have more, but we're not hurting for talent, just consistency.

Both saftey positions, CB2, CB3, DT, DE2, both G, RT, WR2, WR3, and specail teams as a unit are all position I would not comfortably say we have top 15 talent in. Not saying we should expect to be that loaded, but it goes against what you were saying

Being generous and giving you all of those positions, that's ten out of 22 starters. How many other teams you know of that have 12 top ten to 15 talents as starters? It's the nature of the NFL that every team has a LOT of "holes."

Does the team that just beat us field any players that are top in talent in any of those positions you mentioned aside from # 2 DE?

What top 15?

Both safties

One guard for sure maybe both

WR 2 absolutely, WR 3 nope

DT yup, as much as we have stabilized that position we would start any of theres. Didn't see the game but I am assuming Tuck is playing the inside with Canty.

RT, Diehl was pretty good, so I would assume so.

CB 2 and 3. No

Really hard to judge best top 15 WR2, and WR3, and CB2, and CB3, so I am not pretending my opinion is factual on this. But it is what I believe. I really wanted to say WR3, but it would prove difficult to prove but I really like the WR corps and consider it one of the best Cruz, Nicks, Hixon, Barden, and Randle. Barden didn't surprise me at all because I remember when they drafted him to replace some of what Burress brought.

To be fair Lafell is on his way to becoming a top 15 WR 2 and Gettis who I love can be a top 15 WR 3, maybe more.

You think Ramses Barden is a top 15 W.R?? Surely you meant Nicks but I cleary stated the team they fielded.

DT,wow...no Tuck is defensive end and that where he started and played. Canty has not played all year and is on p.u.p. They started Joseph and Bernard. Diehl was out too and Giants fans preferred it because he was playing so bad as of late.

Everyone knows you hate Hurney and your only mission on this board seems to be to influence others to agree with that sentiment. You just need to bring better informed opinions or facts if you want to have anybody joining you in that movement.

Someone forgot to tell me that the sky fell over the weekend. I think there are a lot of reasons to lament but to write off the season and the coaching staff this early is a bit much. I dont want to even think playoffs at this point but do think there are ways to become competitive.

That said, if we get to the bye week without much improvement I might agree with the 4-12 and deem you a genius but I am in wait and see mode right now.

Everything after Hurney is false.

Yeah I meant Hicks both him and Cruz are pretty much top 15 for number 1 wideouts. That team is loaded anyone looking at that roster can see that. You need to bring better hammer to convince anyone that they aren't better from top to bottom than we are.

    • I like Jaycee a lot and appreciate his leadership but to say he's above Ramsey right now is based on hopium let's be realistic. He's got a great deal to prove this season. I’m hoping to see that he firmly establishes himself amongst his peers.
    • It’s amazing how simple it is. When you are winning 2-7 games for 7 straight years, you’d think people would understand that just drafting some starters isn’t poo unless they are above average NFL starters. Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase started their rookie years like Legette did so we got an elite WR in the 2024 draft. Luke was a rookie starter just like Wallace. Damn we basically got a Kuechly and Jefferson last year. Bravo Dan Morgan!!!
    • I didn’t even say they would be starters. I don’t think Legette will be and Coker was not drafted. Coker chose to sign with us because our WR room gave him a chance to start even though we drafted a guy in the 1st. That should tell you something when Coker chose to come to Carolina even after we took Legette. We drafted and signed guys to potentially replace Sanders, who isn’t a starter yet over Tremble) and Wallace. Go look at our other drafts since Rhule. We had tons of rookie contribution from all of our recent classes. Why, because our overall talent sucked and we needed bodies. Go look at PFR. Here’s some of our players who “started” for a year: TMJ, Mingo, BC, Ian Thomas, Jermaine Carter, Dennis Daley, YGM and Roy. That’s what Legette and Wallace are right now although unless TMac bombs, Legette has kind of already lost his spot. We’ve had shitty drafts since 2018 and every single one has contributed at least two guys who’ve started so 2024 is tied for last right now and we just had a draft where we took 3 more players who play the same position as 3 of our top 4 picks in 2024 but somehow I’m saying that the 2024 draft class is good? Nope, the 2024 draft class was bad and our team is still in the low enough talent quadrant that lots of rookie contribute in our holes until we replace them. Been the same story since 2018 and accelerated as the old solid vets retired/move on.
