9/24: Rivera talk to the media

Can't wait till ESPN acts like having sports psychologists is a big red flag. LOL Where's the hate on MJ for being insanely competitive? Even his HOF speech was salty as fug but when you perform on the field nobody cares.

What's hilarious is that Cam is 23 and carrying a franchise while 50 year old men talk poo about him and act like they've ever been under the pressure he is.

Joe Person@josephperson

Rivera did say rookie CB Josh Norman played soft vs Giants, and S Haruki Nakamura was playing too deep, more like how he aligned w/ Ravens.

This is the part I don't get. If you see Norman playing too soft, and Haruki playing too deep, why don't you walk your ass over to McDermott and get him to make the necessary corrections?

Ron should clarify a bit here. Has he given 100% control over the D to McDermott and 100% of the offense to Chud? Has he somehow promised not to involve himself with them game day? Can't believe this is true, but if it is, that is a huge problem in my eyes.

If he hasn't, and this to me is likely, then why not talk to the coordinators in-game to get these things straightened out?

This really has undermined my belief in his coaching abilities to the umpteenth degree. I know we discussed it yesterday, but it is mind boggling.

YOU ARE THE HEAD COACH. YOU ARE THE FINAL WORD ON EVERYTHING ON GAMEDAY.

So why is he talking to the media like he was blindfolded, gagged, and cuffed on the sideline? LOL. And it wasn't like he didn't have PLENTY of opportunities to say something - we did it all game and got torched.

Those 50 year old men are mad because their sons want to be like him, and their daughters want to bang him. This is their way of paying him back.

THIS. He is so full of poo it's rediculous. He acts as though his hands are tied. Truth is, like I've said several times before, he is clueless.

Come to think of it McDegenerateginger coaches from the sideline and I don't think there has been a single solitary time that I've seen him and Rivera interact. What in the flying feck doesn't Rivera try to communicate when he sees something out of place/scheme? He just gives us the Seifert all game

Im wondering if RR has the balls necessary to be a head coach.

    • Other than the wasted pick on Allar, id love this.
    • Hos production by snap count and targets isn't bad. They must REALLY be tired of dealing with his knuckleheaded behavior which is saying something for an organization that put up with Stephon Diggs for four years.
    • Bryce had his best season this year and it wasn't even remotely as good as Stroud's "worst" (2024, which was still a damn good season). His passer rating and efficiency were actually up this year compared to last.  His yards and TDs would likely have been higher as well, were it not for missing three games due to injury.  So he's actually improved his overall body of work. I don't see any trend downward whatsoever.  I agree the playoff game was a meltdown, but I think that had much more to do with missing weapons and what appeared to be an injured hand.  After his hand hit the center's helmet his accuracy clearly suffered.  It was a terrible game, but I don't foresee it being as career-altering. In regard to the topic of the thread, I'd trade 5 Bryce Youngs for one CJ Stroud in an instant and never look back.
