Why the Hurney Hating after Giants loss?

Honestly, why? I realize the fan base has had a love/hate relationship with Hurney for years now and he has his detractors, but honestly, our team is no different talent-wise than it was after the Saints game and all of a sudden after one bad loss it's Hurney's fault for being a terrible GM?

What happened against the Giants had nothing to do with Marty Hurney. We have a good enough team to win. The coaching staff was the problem; we came in unprepared and soft with a predictable gameplan.

Hurney has made his share of mistakes, sure, but are why does this loss make him suddenly so much worse as a GM? Blame the coaching staff, not the GM. We have a playoff-caliber team - when they play to their potential.

When they don't, that's on Rivera, not Hurney.

Because alot of peeps think that we keep changing our coaches but it never changes the mindset so maybe its time to go to the next rung up the ladder. So need a scapegoat and I have hated him for a while. Not sure what people are thinking.

It's not coaching when our weaknesses that Hurney refuses to acknowledge keep getting exposed time and time again

It's not our weaknesses that are the problem, it's that our strengths haven't lived up to the hype. The OL, for example, was viewed as a strength coming into the season, and has been awful so far. The linebackers as well, and the running game has yet to really get going.

All perceived strengths coming into the season that have struggled so far. That's why we're losing. And that's on the coaching staff, not Hurney.
