If we beat the Falcons what do you think will be the biggest difference

Where is all the posters who think we lack the talent to pull out a winning season? If you believe that then you should have no problem guranteeing a loss to the Falcons. Mike Smith has a more proven track record and experience as a coach, so I doubt any of you think we are going to outcoach them.

We do have a coordinator that enjoys running nothing but college plays and continues to show no respect to opposing defenses. It doesn't really matter if you have the talent when you have coaches who don't know how to use it.

Well when Stewart is healthy....college ball is too much for most defenses to defend.

Also, hate to say it...no Jstew,no run game..no W.

It's not just the drop in talent when Stewart isn't playing (which is still huge), it's that Chud can't handle losing him and won't make any adjustments for the other running backs on the roster.

Aren't you guys ignoring the fact that DWill ran well in both the NO and NY game (yes, even out of the read option)? The problem with NY wasn't that DWill wasn't running as well as Stew would have. It's that we chose not to use him, tried to force runs for Cam (which the Giants were keyed on) and just generally played like crap over all.

I can't understand those that think Stew is the key off anecdotal evidence in a couple of games.

I agree with this for the most part. Dlo wasn't horrible but his physicality brings more to the O. Dlo was ok in the option, but Stew is head n shoulders better in that area. If Stew is out there should be more conventional formations. And for godsake get the man to the outside.

I don't think Dlo was horrible by any means. I just don't think he's as dangerous of a weapon in the option and is better suited on runs to the outside and cut backs. When Stews in the game he brings more of a physicality. He's also better suited in the zone reads and options. IMO the offense is more dangerous when we can use both to their strengths, not try and use them in the same fashion. Also for those saying in the off season how Tolbert could take Stews spot! I THINK NOT!!!

from what we have displayed so far. Or feel free to gurantee a loss thanks to our team sucking so bad from a talent perspective if that's the way you feel.

I say the coaches. What about you guys?

I didn't mean to 'pie you'...but oh well

My answer - 3 words...Chud, McDumbass, Adjustments

That Giant game wasn't a true indictment of our team. We were not ready and had vanilla defensive looks, unimaginative offensive play calling and just looked wildly unprepared. That was a great exsmple of piss poor coaching and bad execution, which is still a product of piss poor coaching.

The talent is there. This O can be unstoppable if the OLine holds up and Chud doesn't try to force a gameplan that can be read from a mile away. It didn't help that JPP made Gary fuging Williams his prison bitch all night.

I really do believe we have a chance against the falcons. A good chance, at that. Our O can go toe to toe with theirs, it's just a matter of our DLine actually getting pressure. Hopefully the coaching staff realized that relying on our underwhelming front four alone isn't enough. There needs to be a creative game plan in place to get some semblance of pressure in Matty Ryan's face.

    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
