Jonathan Stewart

I hope all of #PantherNation likes our new style of play that we will show on Offense and Defense against ATL tomorrow.

I am not sure if they have just opened up the playbook or changed things around... but the fact that he's posted that he hopes that we like the new style they are going to show...?

What do you all take from that?

I am hoping they have taken the Option out (not completely but, as stated, as a base)

and I don't know what they will do on Defense, but I would like to see the swarming to the ball and tackling get done. and see some turn overs.

I have that same good feeling about this game. Here's hope'n we are all on the same page!!

Well they better do something now or the season will be lost at 1-3 or 2-3 to start the season going into bye week. Nice that Stewart feels good about what they are doing with what ever they have done the past 10 days since the ass kicking. But unless everything comes together and all and work out just right. That is all talk from Stewart. I hope what ever they did will work big time for them. Can't wait to see what changes they made in the past 10 days. Going to be real interest that is for sure.

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
