Cam Newton's drive began early

Really? I can think of this guy named Kobe Bryant. Kobe is a sore loser and one of the most passionate and competitive guys in the NBA. He hates losing and is a jerk and an ass to reporters just like Cam. I would consider Kobe a winner, I think he won a few times.

I dont consider the current state of the NBA (which has turned into a Hip Hop nightmare) a real sport anymore.

Im not trolling, son. Anybody know of a Panthers Board that isnt choked with hostile comments, personal insults favored by 12 year old boys, (my personal favorite: go kill yourself) stupid Gifs, and internet tough guys who hide behind their anonymity?

Exit through the door you entered.

Thanks

he doesn't get a pass because a lot of people already had a particular preconceived notion of the kind of person he was and this just confirms what they already believed in their minds.

rodgers, brady, and peyton manning all have at least one ring and are major assholes when they are getting beat up/losing. really raise your hand if you think any of those guys would be all smiles if they were playing for a team on the kind of extended downswing we're on right now.

Rogers was good but mistake prone like Cam his first year starting. I dont remember if they were .500 or not that season. Pats werent power houses before Brady, they were a team on the rise with Bledsoe, they were /500 when Brady took the helms. Were they smiles back then.....I doubt it...I have to watch some old nfl film footage. What Im saying is that they werent instant superstars...their teams had to grow. No one is giving us a chance to grow. Everyone expects an 2001-2003 type turnaround here. That team had some great vets on D. And for the record I thought we were playoff bound this year, this game will be a big dieterming factor.

You guys are proving my point quite well I might add. Hope you clowns finish your chores and homework in time to watch the game this afternoon.

classic troll strategy

-say something stupid and indefensible to rustle everybody's jimmies

-call everyone who responds "immature children" or the like

-lean back in chair and fold hands smugly behind head, savoring internet victory

also for bonus points keep whining about how bad this forum is and how far below your lofty intellect and football acumen we all are without ever actually leaving.

Speaking of chores. When you're done with the lawn, get started on the toilets. Mom left poo streaks on the bowl again. Thanks, son.

BTW. Being content in losing IS the definition of a loser. Someone who desires to win everything, will never be happy with losing. But I'm sure you know nothing about that.

    • I think Bryce balls out again and the Panthers win in a close one.  Panthers will have a defender shadow CMC the whole game so I expect he'll be contained to under 100 yards.
    • yeah, Steve was basically like on any actual topic that approached his flaws/problems.....89 went with the long winded, try to sound like a wise man strategy of just basically just pleading the 5th (and sprinkling in the idea that others could of been wrong or wrong too).   also, in terms of the assaults and stuff like that....it feels like old 89, I feel has sort of forgotten his well-documented confessions and apologies about that aspect and era of his and was trying to re-write his story/image in hindsight.   And in all honesty, it seemed like a PR move on the twitter/cheating stuff also attempting to play himself as not the bad guy some think with the intentional vague suggestions. and the Pivot and all these athlete moves to basically take the reigns and power from traditional outlets exposes they have just as bad as flaws if not more often than the traditional media folks.  I mean I do like the free form long talk when dudes are telling stories but all this stuff is largely flawed and controlled PR often.
    • Sadly, I agree and I’m a huge Melo fan. Might be time to ship him out. Don’t want to make the same mistakes the Pels did. They should’ve gotten rid of Zion two years ago.
