Beason needs to sit out the rest of this season

I can see that but is Keek ready to call the defensive plays and audibles?

Beason says he is like an old soul at LB. Luke has a high football IQ....

Don't see why Luke can't do what Beason did when he was a rookie. Beason took over about this time

I cannot for the life of me figure out why we insist on pulling Kuechly out for pass downs. His pass defense ability is very good, but no, he has to watch on the sidelines.

Sure he might make a few mistakes, but so are Beason and Norman (a 5th rounder who plays every down). Yet the 9th pick spends most of the game on the sideline. It is mind-boggling.

Put Luke in the middle and Beason can play in rotation with Davis and Anderson.

At this point I'd like to see Luke in the middle. I think we may see it after the bye week if Beason has trouble slowing down Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks.

We need to utilize Luke to the best of his abilities and he is a natural born MLB. Why we take him off the field on passing downs when it is one of his strengths? I have no idea the rationale behind this move. We constantly heard in OTAs and Training Camp how he was always around receivers..defending passes and picking off QBs like it was second nature to him.

All off-season we heard about how this team was going to be opportunistic and pride itself on causing turnovers and then we proceed to take our best coverage LBer off the field on obvious passing downs.

    • I was going to joke and have the Chiefs throw in 2 first rounders..... But as soon as the Mahomes/Bryce trade comes through we need to hit accept and have Mahomes on the very first flight out here; no negotiation needed lol.
    • It will be interesting this year to see if spending time with some of the best QBs and play callers in the league changed Wentz at all. I really think Mills is starter material. He wasn’t awful despite being apart of two dumpster fire seasons before Demeco got there. Plus he would have zero issues seeing over the line.
    • I feel like for once every one of those guys held back. And I think there is a 5'9 100% attitude guy that they're almost hesitant to speak out against. This is the fact of the matter, it's sports. When you win, fans cheer. When you lose, fans boo. Especially consistently year after year with no end in sight. Instead of just talking about us being the Bible belt maybe talk about how we've never once in the franchise history had back to back winning seasons. We love the team, we loved and celebrated Cam and Steve, and even guys like Jake that we love not just because of talent but because of his spirit as the face of the team. But they all won.  Fans pay a lot of money on gear, and on these overpriced tickets to go out and see a horrible product. I've slowed down on watching games because I realized I was spending 4 hours of my day getting annoyed watching a consistently bad product. Outside of a few hopeful games at the end of last year Panthers football hasn't even been enjoyable to watch. When I flip the channel to a Ravens/Eagles game it almost feels like I'm watching a different sport.  I wouldn't just focus so much attention on the city, I'd ask based on the results are they justified.
