Check out an interview with Aaron Rodgers sometime. Or how about Jay Cutler, is he a humble guy? So why aren't writers like Peter King or Ed Werder calling them out? Rodgers pushed a cameraman away on national tv, while Cutler totally dissed his OC on national tv. It's okay for them, but god help us if Cam looks sad when he's losing.

Some of it has to do with the fact that he won a National Championship in a season when he won the Heisman and became the number 1 overall pick. A year ago when he was on fire people loved the fact he got all of the attention. He got positive coverage out the ass and was the young glamour boy of the league. He was being hyped as the potential best QB of all time and the one to change the position forever. This occurred up until just before the first game when reality set in.

Now you are seeing the downside to media hype. It goes both ways.

2nd year is huge for QB's. DC's have a whole season's tape to view to work out their gameplans against you.

There has to be huge commitment to overcome the sophmore slump. I would like to see Cam take his off the chart physical abilities and couple them with an off the chart commitment to get better at every opportunity. I personally HATE to be losing and see my QB doing some dumbazz dance in the endzone. I would rather him go back and get down to business for his next trip on the field.

The game is not over, you have not won, do not dance until that happens. Course, I am old school. I do not mind a QB running down field to celebrate with his WR who just made a great catch, etc. But the "clear the stage for my Superman dance" kinda gets on my nerves when we cannot win. Course, when you don't win, everything gets on my nerves. Beasons inability to tackle, the lack of safety play fo the last "how many years", Charles Johnson cannot earn his big bucks every week like this past week.

Nobody cares what Stirs wants Cam to do. Cam is gonna be here for awhile and make more money the next 4 years than you have your whole life so why would he take your advice? If anything you need to be taking notes from Newton how to be a successful and have people back you. When is your ESPN commercial dropping?

"Fans" like Stirs need to accept that the days of propping up journeyman scrubs are over. Joining in on media attacks to Cam is not suddenly gonna make us start Clausen or make people forget what a losing organization this is. Or make Jake Delhomme come back. This is a new era and new team, and if Stirs wants to stay stuck in the past thats fine. The game, the team, and the fanbase are moving on without you. I don't for a second believe the media's fascination with Newton is racial but I'm pretty certain your problem is rooted in race.
