I wouldn't base my predictions on "stranger things have happened".

Us getting a 4th is a little more on the real side.

You're going to tell me that a team that trades down from a top 7 pick is only going to get a 4th rd out of that mess?

Every team that wants to move up always have to give up atleast a 2nd rd with their current spot. We gave our 2nd to Philly to trade back up for Otah. We gave was it a 1st to take Everette Brown in the 2nd. Heck we had to give SF a 3rd next year to take Alexander in the 4th.

You're completely lost on the trading cost whatever its call again. Before the draft this year some people gave some great info on how the trading process and cost of trading up works. Go look it up! I can tell u it's not no 4th rd in return trading down that high. I'm sure all 32 teams wouldn't hesitate to think once about trading up if the cost was only a 4th rounder.

FYI, Dallas gave up their no.14 and no.45 to trade up to no.6 with TB. Nothing strange bout it.

Amerson got benched last Saturday...his season has gone so bad he won't even be drafted

unless something dramatic happens.

Sucks for the kid then.

If not Amerson, saying we hold a top 7th pick there are more than 7 true NFL stars in next year draft that a team will def wont to trade up for.

Just look at a team like Arizona. By the looks of it they may end up being a team with a lower pick next year. They will def look for a QB. Wouldn't rule them out trading up for a Logan Thomas or Geno Smith etc.

What did I say? Go back and read.

Dallas was the only one to give up a second rounder and they jumped quite a few spots and were going after a very specific player: One they stupidly thought was the missing piece.

The rules have changed, killer. The norm to move up a few slots this past year was a 4th. To jump way up, you may give up a second (or a first in the case of Washington pursuing RGIII), but the old draft value chart is null and void with the new rookie wage scale.

We might could get a 2nd with a top 7 pick, but it's much more likely we won't than we will. It's rare to have teams jumping way up. More common will be trades like Jacksonville giving up a 4th rounder to move from the 7th pick to the 5th.

      I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.

      The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.

      I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
