Armanti Edwards plays from Sunday.

not a bad pass... kind of wish we would do it more and let cam actually take a route to the endzone...at least it would be another look defenses have to prep for.

throwing a pass to cam on a go to the endzone would be money. Maybe run it right before a 2 minute warning or something to allow him to catch his wind during the break...yea Cam is the qb, but he is also 6'5 and the best athlete on the field.

Peppers did it. Why not Cam?

Wow.

This is one of the dumbest things I've read on here in a while.

Should of known better to stumble into this thread. AE throws a pass and now we got some genius calling for Cam to line up as a wideout.

Are y'all seeing this?

I was more impressed with the burst and decisiveness he showed after catching that pass in traffic... he gained some good yardage in the blink of an eye, that's what we hoped for when he drafted him and it looks like he's starting to come around.

I gotta admit that screen pass he caught was a good play and AE showed a little something.

Still, the delusional App fans are oblivious to that and would rather put our franchise player on the sideline or at WR so Edwards can throw a few ducks to a defensive back.

I'm shocked the App fans haven't blamed Smith for that Edwards incompletion.

He beat Michigan.

Give it a rest, that line shows up in every other post by the anti Armanti squad.

It should also be noted that there are actual Panther fans who don't hate AE that are not ASU alumni.

He's on the team, this will be his 3rd season now. Get over it.

Last year the option worked amazing to. NFL defenses, and more importantly MOST NFL defensive coordinators will catch up to gimicky things like this. What's wrong with just lining up in a pro set and running to set up the play action? Or rolling Cam out on bootlegs with a option to tuck it and run, or pass the ball...

In open space he's a versatile/shifty fugger. Not saying he's a starting caliber WR or returner, but he picked up a first down on his 'only' catch, why not setup a screen and give him a few more shots?

And you have seen him do that how many times? Against real NFL talent?

Pretty sure with last years players, we average 200 rushing yards a game this year.

Only issue with the option is running it without Stewart. Not sure why people complain about us being DOMINANT on the ground using the read as a base.

I will agree that Stewart seems to be the key to the running game, but there is something to say for players making plays. Defenses are keying in on the plays faster then last year, they don't seem as fooled for sure. Go back to the Giants game (I know....no Stewart!), those lineman knew the play before Cam even got the snap. I'm not saying totally trash the option, but throwing some pro sets into the mix would only make this offense more unpredictable being that we can run and pass out of the option as well....

Once ... and it worked. Which is what led to my question, why not give him a few more shots?

Look I get it, he's not a starting WR, but we brought him in for his versatility and gimmick plays. Let him run in space off a short pass and see what he can do. He's likely gone after this year and we are 1-3, I just don't see why it would hurt...
