Who are your favorite prospects for 2013?

Who are your TOP10 prospects for next year that you would like to see wearing a black and blue jersey next year? Base it on the needs of this team and include guys that will or may fall in the 2nd round.

Here are mines in order:

(1) Star Lotulelei DT, Utah

(2) Robert Lest FS, Alabama

(3) Jonathan Hankins DT, OSU

(4) Keenan Allen WR, CAL

(5) Barkevious Mingo DE/OLB, LSU

(6) Bjoern Werner DE, FSU

(7) David Amerson CB/FS, State (a big "IF" he falls into the 2nd, take him as a cb or maybe convert him into FS. Maybe he shows that he can be a cb in the next level, move Gamble to FS like GB Charles Woodson. Just saying)

(8) Eric Reid FS, LSU

(9) TJ McDonald FS, USC

(10) John Jekins DT UGA

and JARVIS JONES OLB, UGA! (Jones is a pass rushing monster! Im just saying if we land a top 5 pick and this kid is still on the board when our clock starts ticking down, I dont give a hell about how many lbs we've been drafting. He's BPA and Rivera or whoever is the HC next year would have to think 10x before trying to pass up on this kid. Jones can definitely play in a 43 and is Von Miller 2.0. We're not lacking lbs, but we're lacking pass rushers.)

Other notable honors: Sam Montgomery, Matt Elam, Justin Hunter, Bacarri Rambo, Johnathan Banks, Kawann Short

In no particular order...

Star Lotulelei

Robert Woods

Matt Elam

Desmond Trufant

Keenan Allen

TJ McDonald

Barrett Jones

Luke Joeckel

Johnathan Hankins

And yes based on pure talent I would take a long hard look at Jarvis Jones and think if I could make it work....

Yea, if Star and Hankins are gone and Jones is still on the board, no way should we pass him up just bc we think we have enough talents at the position already. We're clearly lacking production there excluding Kuechly.

I hope Trufant falls into the 4th or we trade up for him in the 3rd if somehow we dont wanna be competitive next year and not go after a cb in FA (Cason, Sean Smith, Grimes, Mike Jenkins, Talib, DRC).

My top 10 favorite players at postions of need

1) Star Lotulelei- by far my favorite player right now. Fingers crossed for him

2) David Amerson- We will have a top 5 pick probably, and I don't see us taking him that high, but if he slips to the 2nd, then oh my goodness that would be a hell of a steal. Just an absolute ball hawk with great size

3) Keenen Allen- Would be a great weapon in our offense

4) Barkevious Mingo- Awesome defensive player. I would love for him to play OLB for us but would be great at DE too. Just a playmaker that always get too the ball. Him and Luke together for a long time would be incredible.

5) Jarvis Jones. Same as Mingo but definitely would be OLB for us

6) Justin Hunter

7)Eric Reid- I personally haven't seen anything that great from him but it's a major position of need

8)Luke Joekcel- Have him at tackle and play Bell at gaurd if we don't get another gaurd

9)Bjoern Werner- great pass rusher and tackle. Would help our defense out a lot

10) couldn't make up my mind here

Johnathan Hankins DT Ohio State

Star Lotulelei DT Utah

Eric Reid S LSU

Matt Elam S Florida

DJ Fluker OT Bama

Chance Warmack OG Bama

Quick note on the bama lineman....depending on how bell looks at guard the rest of the year, we could draft Fluker in the second and really solidify our offensive line, even if bell doesn't work out at guard we can keep him at RT and draft Warmack to play RG.....either way I'd like to see the o-line stabilized

I just cant think about drafting o-lineman high in the draft in back to back year (Amini 2012) especially when we have bigger needs than the oline

I agree especially with Austin and Terrance Williams. Those are the two most explosive wideouts in the draft imo

Devin Taylor DE South Carolina

TJ Johnson C/G South Carolina

John Jenkins DT UGA

Mike Gilliard LB UGA ( wouldn't happen I just think it would be cool because I went to school with him)
