williams in the doghouse? fowler thinks so...

Recommended Posts

When asked about Williams’ lack of playing time after the game, Panthers coach Ron Rivera said: “A lot of it had to do with personnel. We trade off based on personnel.”

here...

one of two things...

1. his subtle "retweet" tyraid before the game rubbed someone the wrong way...doing it after the game isn't going to help. he has since backpedalled in a way by stating his retweets aren't directed to anyone.

2. the staff is testing the "post deangelo williams era" early. he may just be on the "shopping" block.

Magic

He's worth virtually nothing now and on top of this, we don't utilize him properly to the point where D'will, one of the guys with the best repertoires with the FO in recent history, gets mad. Brilliant...fuggin fine and dandy

i don't know about that. imo, williams has been borderline with his comments/opinions in the past.

if i'm not mistaken, he was asked to stop his weekly video stream during the fox era because of his opinions.

Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
