2-part problem-

1. The NFL/Tagliabue promised JR a Super Bowl when the franchise joined the league. How's that workin' for ya?

2. The NFL won't consider Charlotte until all the recommended changes have been made.... and then there's no guarantee. Meanwhile, the ticket holders are getting gashed for the cash.

I'm three seconds away from selling off my PSLs now because I'm tired of paying for an inferior product, now you want me to foot the bill for stadium improvements? Dogshit still stinks, even if you do put new carpet on the floor....

Reference point 1. JR wanted slightly less seating capacity at BoA, but the NFL urged to build 70K+ fo get a Super Bowl. (Side Note OT: "insiders" were saying back in '93 that we would be an AFC team)

What the team and the stadium (with ACC tourney, etc.) bring in with tourists, etc. brings a lot of tax money and economic impact to the Charlotte area. It's an investment for the community.

I love our state and our big cities, especially Charlotte, and I take great pride in them... That being said, why would the NFL ever want to have the Superbowl in a city with potential for horrible weather in February with an outdoor stadium? I don't care how many upgrades we get to it, it doesn't make sense...

I agree. My point was more directed at the notion that selling ones PSLs would isolate that person from footing the bill. Cause it wont.

$200 million probably wouldn't go very far in building a new, state-of-the-art NFL stadium.

These new start of the art stadiums are complete jokes. They place the fans so far back from the field, and make the lower bowls void of any pitch, creating crappy sight lines for fans. This also negates any "homefield advantage". Just look at Dallas' new stadium with all its bells and whistles. The Cowboys don't win there!

      I like Willie Drew (CB, Virginia State) as well.  He is a lock for the PS with a shot at the roster.

      I like this kid--he will make the roster.  However, he said that his sophomore year was the first playoff game in school history. Incorrect.  Western Carolina beat them in the FCS playoffs many years ago.
