A Gettis interview is up on panthers.com. He really has a passion for the game, and I am rooting for him this Sunday. I believe he can come in and contribute, and by the end of the game I think he will be a starter.

He is also really well spoken and pleasant to listen to. On another note, I can't stand listening to Murhpy's interviews.

Wow, what I take away from that interview is that the staff really was being coy with his situation...

When Craft asked him when he knew he was ready, it definitely seemed like he had an idea but laughed and gave a "I don't know." Watching his movement on that vid the other day suggests he's been ready for awhile.

I'm also proud to say that the day we drafted Gettis I said he would make the team and contribute, so I've been pulling for him to get back and become a big time player for us.

      The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.

      I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.

      lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
