NFC Playbook: Broncos vs Panthers

Start the Panthers D in fantasy football.

I say at least 6 sacks.

Lol not a chance. Peyton is the best protected QB in the league now that the line has gelled. Not to mention the RBs are all proficient pass protectors. Our two starting OTs have given up a combined 2 sacks this year, and none in the last three games. The Panthers will be lucky if they get one coverage sack. The Broncos, on the other hand, are a shoe in for 3+.

Hahaha, oh young one... You must have missed this thread?

Denver is #1 allowed in sacks and hits on the QB, we're tied for 4th in sacks. Charles Big Money Johnson had 3 sacks on arguably one of the best offensive linemen in the league Tyson Clabo.

Way to underestimate your team.

Yeah, Denver allows the LEAST amount of sacks and hits. I think we still get to him, but it want be easy.

Definitely pulled a TCF on this one and failed to read the article lol.

I stand by my 6 sacks though I love our defensive line for the first time in a long while.

TCF can you remind us, do you lye down? Or lay down? Or do you lye something down? Or lay something down?

Yeah I definitely miss remembered that... And swore to it as well. I was wrong and admitted as much. A real man can admit when he's wrong.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
