My Sunday schedule just got a bit more flexible...

After church yesterday my wife asked me if I wanted to go to the mountains for the day. I told her that I would like to watch the Panthers game at 1pm, that John Fox was returning, Peyton Manning, etc...

So there she sat cheering alongside me...

Well after watching that debacle I am no longer going out of my way to watch the Panthers this year.

What has this team done to earn 4 hours of my life every Sunday for the next 6 weeks?

Anyone want to go apple picking next Sunday? Maybe I play 18. Maybe rake those damn leaves.

Didn't Oakland pick up your boy, Aaron Curry. You can make the switch.....................

God you are like a bitchy teenage girl. I was wrong about Kuechly I have no problem admitting it...actually as soon as the Panthers drafted him I supported him. I was right about Cordy Glenn...

My tweaking you a few times about Curry doesn't make up for the hundreds of crappy posts and threads from you about Kuechly whenever we were discussing the draft. You deserve a lot more than I give you..... Seems you are the one with PMS taking things too personally.

As for Glenn, good job getting something right. Even blind pigs find the occasional acorn.

I promise you that anyone who is still supporting the team/organizaion and giving away hundreds of dollars to take your family of four to a game each week or even taking 4 hours out of your day to watch on TV, care 10x's more about the outcome of the game than 90% of the players on the field right now. Nothing wrong with that, just don't be blind to the fact that you care a lot more than the people you are supporting.

I see nothing wrong with saying fug it and doing something with your money and time that is much more beneficial to you and your family on a Sunday. Come back when the Panthers give you a reason to give a d*mn again. And don't kid yourself, fans in the best NFL cities in league would be doing the same thing under the circumstances.

Yea you half season quitters can GTFO and never come back. People like you guys [those who are abandoning ship] are the reason our stadium isnt ever a home game, and why we aren't taken seriously.

I'm pretty sure the reason (if it exists in the first place) "we aren't taken seriously" has more to do with the fact that this team couldn't score if they were left on the field alone. And even then we would need a penalty of the non existent defense to get a first down.

True fans do not give up on their team. Regardless.

I will continue to watch, as I always have. Not going to abandon my team because of a bump in the road. Sure, I am frustrated. But that does not mean I will quit on my team.

Try being a Lions fan for almost 50 years. It puts into perspective what we are going through.

But then again. Most folks on this board are here to bitch and moan anyway. So whether or not you watch the game will not stop you from practicing your craft.

Half season quitters? I simply said I was not going out of my way to watch or attend. I'll still pry watch the majority of games and even go to another one.

Oh and why is it my loyalty that is called into question?

I think it's the Panthers loyalty to it's fans that should be questioned.
