Tony Eury's gone

Now we shall see was crew cheif or is it the driver...Lance Mcgrew should help Little E and he is going due a full evaluation on the situation.

My question is if the team continues to fail, will JR be out of a job at the end of the year??

The team is horrible at adjusting during a race as well, Jr. isn't good at giving input from the car so any crew chief is going to be hard pressed to adjust the car for the better. Plus, if the car isn't hooked up from the beginning of the race, he gets dejected and almost gives up.

That's not from me, that's from Cooter at the Darlington race a few weeks ago. And I agree with him.

Well if the article is right and they weren't follow the setups and such from the other drivers that are winning then that's just stupidity on their part.

I think that falls on Eury Jr. sounds as if he had his own way of doing things and he wasn't utilizing the #5 teams setups. Seems like ol Eury Jr. might be alittle hard headed and was probably trying to show he could do it his way instead of doing it Hendricks way .

And it's funny to hear them say now that communication had broke down " no $hit" this team has stunk up the place all year.

At least now they get the car setup like the others and if it ain't running perfect the new CC can tell Junior to shut up and get up on the wheel & earn your money.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
