Mike Dunlap Appreciation thread

Despite his many detractors, myself included, Dunlap has made a tremendous difference in his short time in Charlotte.

He has this young squad playing hard for 48 minutes and they're fun to watch as they grow as Pro's and as a team. My hat is off the Dunlap for the job he's done and for giving the Bobcats hope again.

I think he gambled a little bit...he ran the team really hard with those 4+ hour practices. If we had lost some of these games early he could have lost the team. But I think they believe in him now. Yeah, seeing the progress of Kemba is a testament to Dunlap, he now looks like the stud we saw in NCAA.

I like these long hour of practices.

Pros have become lazy of some sort when talking about practices. High schoolers are practicing longer than these professionally paid sport players.

Dunlap is a great hire for the franchise and these young kids that loss the winning attitude last year under a dumb coach.

We won't be seeing Dunlap and TT throwing fists at each other (Silas).

And the thing is, you don't see him flipping out on the sidelines, even with an obvious horrible call against the Cats. The guy has a calm and collected demeanor in the game, but it's clear he demands intensity from his players until the game is over.

i was being sarcastic. i'm not one of the people in these appreciation threads that were demanding jordan rename the team, sell it, or dancing on the grave of a 7 win season

this area is full of terrible fans and as soon as the cats go on a 6 game nosedive they'll go back to their usual petulance

He has brought a culture change as well as emphasis on defense. There was a article in the observer about how mully doesnt want to let dunlap down. He also has shown that he is not stubborn leaving zones out of the gameplan and going to man.
